R. Leslie Waycaster, Jr.


R. Leslie Waycaster, Jr. has practiced law in Dalton, Georgia since July, 1980. He first worked at the firm of Kinney and Kemp, primarily defending personal injury claims for various insurance companies, including State Farm and Allstate. After becoming a partner, he started his own firm in 1988 and began representing injured victims in a variety of cases including vehicular collisions, defective products and professional malpractice.

 In 1990, Mr. Waycaster was lead counsel in the medical malpractice case of Tanner v. Heymore, which at that time was the highest verdict ever returned in Madison County Superior Court. Since then, Mr. Waycaster has been involved in numerous personal injury cases. Between 50-100 of his cases have been settled or tried to verdicts in excess of $100,000.00, with several being for $1,000,000.00, or more, most recently in November, 2015.

 Mr. Waycaster has also handled and tried numerous business cases involving fraud, violations of the federal wiretapping statute and state and federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act violations. He is licensed in Georgia and has served on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Georgia. He has served as a vice-president for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been President of the Conasauga Bar Association. He is local counsel in fourteen (14) counties in northwest Georgia for the Georgia Sheriff’s Association.

 In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Waycaster has also been a certified mediator/arbitrator since 1995, having mediated hundreds of cases involving personal injuries or business disputes. Mr. Waycaster has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the preeminent attorney rating service in the country. Ratings are given by other attorneys. Only seven percent (7%) of attorneys rated by Martindale-Hubbell receive this rating.

 Mr. Waycaster is authorized to practice in all Trial and Appellate State Courts in Georgia, as well as in the Federal U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the Fourth (4th) and Eleventh (11th) Circuit Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Timothy H. Allred


Timothy H. Allred was admitted to the State Bar of GA in 1982 and served as a Workers Compensation attorney for several of the largest employers in Northwest GA (including Shaw Industries, Mohawk Industires, J&J Industries, K-Mart, Liberty Mutual Ins. Co., State Farm Ins. Co., and Hartford Ins. Co.) from then until 2001. He litigated hundreds of Workers Compensation cases at all levels from the State Board of Workers Compensation to the GA Court of Appeals. 

Since that time he has focused his legal practice on representing people injured on the job and applying for Social Security Disability benefits. Commanding the Martindale-Hubbell rating of BV, "Distinguished", Mr. Allred has taught classes on Banking Law and Education Law to professionals in those fields, and served as the School Board Attorney for Dalton Public Schools for over 15 years. His commitment to bettering the lives of his clients in Northwest GA and beyond, both through representation and community service, is unrivaled.
